ELKO - A Bureau of Land Management firefighter from Las Vegas who was recently discharged from the East Slide Rock Ridge Fire was arrested early this morning for allegedly trying to kill a security officer at Cactus Pete's.
Christopher John Adams, 30, allegedly attacked the security officer after he was cut off from alcohol after he reportedly harassed a cocktail waitress at about 2:20 a.m., Deputy Sean Murphy said.
The security officer reportedly asked Adams to go to his room, but Adams instead allegedly attacked the security officer and put him in a choke hold, taking him to the ground, Murphy said.
Other security officers and bystanders were unable to pull Adams off of the security officer, he said.
When a deputy arrived, she discharged a Tazer twice at Adams in order to get him off of the officer, Murphy said.
