LAMOILLE - Ruby Mountain Riding for the Handicapped will host the 30th annual Man-Mule Race on Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Runners, bicyclists, walkers and horse or mule riders will take off at staggered start times in downtown Lamoille and meet back in the grove for awards and a picnic lunch. Horse and mule riders will compete in a poker ride and a trail trial.
Bicyclists have the choice of a mountain bike track in the foothills or a road bike “race to the outhouse” going to the top of Lamoille Canyon. Runners and walkers will use the country lanes in Lamoille Valley and the whole family is invited to play in the non-competitive Boy-Burro fun run, a 21/2 mile stroll to the church, around Gallagher's pastures and back.
Entry forms are available at many Elko businesses, including T-Rix Bikes, J.M. Capriola's, Stockman's Supply, Brebeau Kennels and IFA.
